About Us
Stop Elder Abuse is a nonprofit corporation, currently serving southwest Ohio, with plans to expand to serve all of Ohio. Our first goal is to spread "Elder Abuse Awareness."
How it Started
"I was sitting at my desk working at a relatively large firm one day when I heard another lawyer on the phone in the hallway. I really like this person. He is very kind and dotes over his children. But, I heard him talking to his father on the phone, and he was nothing shy of cruel to his father. I thought to myself 'I bet he doesn't even realize that he is being abusive to his dad.' That's when I knew someone needed to help make people aware of the pain their words cause...and everything just started growing from there."

Inspiration
When I started thinking about what our goals should be and how we can help, I thought about my dad. He needs my help to get groceries and other things. And, he needs me to help him with doctors' appointments and other things. I keep thinking "how would this project make my dad's life better?"
